Q. Why learn Gujarati?
A. Many reasons…. It's our mother-tongue language, we at SKSST have very fun and caring people who will motive and support you throughout your learning, you experience and learn a new language along with English, you will feel confident as Gujarati is a well-recognised and spoken language, so you communicate with your immediate and extended family which are in the UK and around the world.
Q. When is enrolment for students?
A. Enrolment is usually Mid-June for Sept starts. There is no waiting list (first come first basis).
Q. What are the school sections and timings?
A. Session 1: 10am – 12pm and Session 2: 1pm – 3pm
Q. When does the term begin and end?
A. Starts first Saturday of Sept and ends Mid-July, every year.
Q. How old do the children you have to be to join Gujarati school?
A. We accept children who are over 4 years old (provided they can settle down without a parent in class).
Q. Do you do Adult Gujarati classes?
A. No we currently do not cater for only Adult classes, but we do have Parents who show interest to learn and so join us in class amongst existing students.
Q. What is the fee, annually?
A. £90.00, per annual – Cheque Payable to GET (Ghanshyam Education Trust) or Cash to be paid to a member of admin team which enrolling.
Q. Do students do their Gujarati GCSEs here?
A. Yes! We have a registered OCR Exam Centre. We enrol and encourage both internal and external students to do GCSE with us. We have 3-5 qualified and experienced teachers.
